On average,
12 Ontarians a year have been killed over the past 10 years
as a result of electrical accidents, and countless more suffer
accidents from electrical contacts and fires. The Electrical
Safety Partners want to educate the public about the facts
and steps they can take to keep themselves safe from electrical
shock and fire hazards.

develops standards and offers products/services to
ensure safe electrical installations and products.
EDA/Hydro
One Networks /OPG generate and distribute
electricity safely and reliably over a network of powerlines.
ECAO/IBEW/OEL
represent certified and licensed electrical contractors
and electricians who meet electrical safety standards.
CSAO– Construction
Safety Association – “The Construction
Safety Association of Ontario works with Ontario industry
to eliminate
injury, illness, and death in Ontario’s construction
industry. Ontario holds the best construction safety record
in all of North America.”
E&USA – Electrical and Utilities Safety Association – “E&USA
is dedicated to being the leading health and safety authority
in the electrical and utilities sector by offering training
and performance-based injury prevention solutions.” url

International set standards and performs
testing to ensure safe electrical products.
Electrofederation
Canada supports a standard for electrical
manufacturing in Ontario.

Media Incorporated is assisting in sharing
electrical safety information and strengthening the partnership
through print communication.
